Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode has been facing Michael Myers for four decades. And when Curtis’ upcoming final Halloween film, Halloween Ends, premieres this October, fans can decide to either watch in the theater or on Peacock (or both).
Curtis broke the news herself (with a cameo from Michael Myers) in a video posted by the Halloween Ends Twitter account. Check it out below:

“I’m very proud of Halloween Ends and how it brings this saga to a fitting conclusion,” Curtis said in the video above. “And I cannot wait for people to have the chance to see it.”
Curtis goes on to talk about how they released the last Halloween movie, Halloween Kills, in theaters and on Peacock because of Covid. That decision apparently worked well for NBCUniversal, the parent company behind both the Halloween franchise and Peacock.
“We discovered that there are people who want to go to the theater and scream their guts out, and other people who want to stay at home and scream their guts out,” Curtis explained. “But what we knew is that people watched, and we got great results, both at the Box Office and from streaming.”
Based on that success, NBCUniversal decided to do the same thing again: Halloween Ends will premiere both in theaters and on Peacock on October 14, giving you two ways to watch the film before the end of the month. In the meantime, we can catch up on Halloween movies past by watching Halloween Kills on HBO Max.
